I may be a little neurotic for asking this question, but when the decision emails are sent out, do the acceptances have attachments? When I get the email, if I don't see an attachment/paperclip icon, I'm gonna get nervous because I'm already gonna think I was rejected/deferred.

Does anyone have any knowledge about this? Thank you!

^ I really am sure that the decisions are not in the portal, cuz’ somewhere in the confirmation e-mail from H, I remember coming across that line. So, its just an e-mail dropped into our inbox. btw, am actually browsing through youtube right now, watching all the “decision reaction” videos of random people. never come across a H one so far. This is probably a good way to pre-picture yourself before decisions, atleast helps me drive away the time :D

diddly123: May I make a suggestion to a neurotic and nervous applicant. As Harvard defers more applicants in the SCEA round than it accepts, you should assume you will be deferred. That’s true for you and all other applicants. If you are accepted, it will be a very pleasant and happy surprise! At this point, it’s all out of your control – so there’s nothing to be nervous about; you just have to wait for the universe to deal their cards.

@ecstatia, Okay, thank you. I just did not want to open the email thinking it was telling me to check my portal without realizing it actually contained my rejection. Also, there is one Harvard reaction video that I’ve found though it’s not as good as the other ones. :p

So,if the decisions are gonna be out on 13th dec 5 pm in the US, does that mean in India its gonna be out @ 3:30 am dec 14th? (Gotta try waking up at the sound of the alarm atleast this time!)

@collegeluva101 not a very good video, but am happy for that girl. She really seemed to have worked hard for it.
