Do employers care at all about "concentrations"?

...or are they mostly just overlooked? Will having a concentration in a relevant field improve your chances of getting hired? For example, a linguistics major with a concentration in computing trying to get hired into the field of computational linguistics.

I don’t know if they’ll care a whole lot about the piece of paper that says you have a completion. They’ll care more about the classes you’ve taken, and your ability to talk about the concepts covered in those classes.
