I mean about their acceptance letters? My friend did.....if so when?

you don't get acceptance letters first... you get a "likey" letter that says they recommended you for admission, most people gets that letter get in... but you won't know for sure until end of march like all the other majors(I remember sitting on front of my computer for 4 hours refreshing the page to check, I heard the server crashed after like 20minutes)... but keep in mind that engineer school is more selective and harder to get in

hear

Yeah, I've experienced that the past two years with transfer applicants. Engineers would get a letter a week or so earlier, straight from the engineering department saying "We will recommend your application for admission" or something like that.

well for highschool kids we got our "recommendation" letter in the middle of feb and UCLA won't post til literally the end of march... I actually thought the letter was a joke and didn't take it seriously until end of march when everyone was anxious for acceptances...

so if the 'recommend' you is that guaranteed admission?

nope its not I heard people has been rejected even when they had the recommendation

really? was it cause they dropped their GPA...? i didnt think there was a way to not get in after the letter, unless if you like break the contract or w/e by getting a low GPA
