No they don’t.

Nobody needs a tablet PC.

No you don’t. Anyway, do not waste your money on a tablet, regardless of whether u need one. I had one, and while it did work well, and never gave me problems, it cost me 3.5k, which is just not worth it, even if it lasts 5 years, like mine did.

My company offers tablet PC’s as an option… for executives, who also get a desktop or bigger laptop. I don’t think I’ve seen a working engineer with one ever, so at this point I would still consider them a toy. Maybe that will change for some who really need the mobility, but most engineers need computing power, something that is not exactly a tablet PC strength.

Actually I need a graphic tablet (not a tablet pc) to take notes in math, physics class…Is it worth when it costs about $200

Pad of paper and a couple of pencils is less than $5. Whether or not the tablet is worth another $195 is really up to you - will it help YOU that much (it would NOT help me)? Are you going to get other utility out of it to make up the difference? How big a deal is $200 to you?
