Do experimental sections foreshadow future tests?

The experimental section is used to normalize questions and try out new problems.

Do the experimental sections from the 2005/2006/2007 SATs predict the material on the upcoming SATs?

Any opinions?

Hard to say: presumably some of those questions will appear on future tests, but some of the others won’t, depending on how the test takers did (and what their responses were) on those questions. Since the only legitimate way to see the experimental questions is to take the tests, and the ETS would not use those questions on scored sections without some delay (say, a year), I don’t see how the answer to this question would make any difference for SAT takers.
