Do extracurricular APs add to GPA?

Well, ordinary schools where I live don't offer AP course, so when I decided to take AP tests, I had to talk with a nerby American school to let me take tests along with their students. I self-studied for the test.

The question is, am I eligible to add the scores (two 5s) to my GPA, as I only have scores from the test but no scores from any AP courses whatsover?

Thank you for the help!

your GPA is made up only of grades from the classes you take at your hs. AP scores do not count in your GPA

GPA only measures your grades in classes.

Hmm, thanks for the info! I was in the wrong impression then. Good to hear this here then from irritated college admission officers.

^How do you get multiple choice exams? I don’t think College Board releases them.
Can anyone check if that’s legit?

Hmm, I think you are asking how I managed to take the test? I registered for it like any other student. Would think it’s perfectly legitimate, as College Board allows students who didn’t take AP courses take the test, e.g. homeschooled students.

I had to register through the AP counselor at the American school, that is.

To billlin12345, the College Board DOES release multiple choice exams… just not every year. I believe that they release an exam for each AP test every 4 years- though I may have gotten this number wrong. Try googling for the released exams. I remember when I taking AP Chemistry that I was able to find released exams from previous years without any problem online.

you can get mc tests but the LEGAL way to get it is to buy it from the college board
billlin12345 why are you asking that question did you not take the ap world exam that ms.suri gave ahahaha she bought it from the college board
