Do Final IB scores matter besides credits?

Hi, I am attending an international school that follows the IB diploma system. Nevertheless, I do not take the full diploma program, but all my 6 courses are IB, hence I decided to include the predicted scores in my high school transcript.

Thankfully, I’ve been accepted to CoE, but I’ve been wondering if I MUST send the final IB scores to umich- since the predicted score was included as a part of my transcript. Do you guys know if I must send them? and even if I do, will a large discrepancy between the predicted and the final score beget a rescinded offer? For those who’ll be answering, thank you a lot in advance.

If your actual IB score is not part of your final transcript grade, then no. If your actual IB score comprises part of your final transcript grade, and as a result, your final grade drops to a D (or equivalent),then it’s a problem. However, don’t worry about things that may not happen.

@skieurope , thank you for answering the question. As far as I know, the final transcript solely comprises of the collection of semester letter grades. I’m more relieved now

I did full DP program. You might as well send them in and get credits for any you can, they’re not going to pull your admissions or anything for your IB scores. (Granted, my school didn’t and still doesn’t do predicted scores)

Agreed. The score report goes directly to the registrar’s office at most colleges. At those schools admissions never sees them, and the clerical processing your report will not care what your scores were.

Thanks for the help, guys!
