Do first class colleges look at this?

I am applying for research/internship summer programs, and I really do not know what field I want to go into yet. I want to either become a lawyer or doctor. However, I'm not sure on those field itself.

Would colleges look down, if I took summer internship programs for medicine and mentioned it my app. yet wanted to major in pre-law?

Thanks!

No, they wouldn’t care.

No. I’m currently doing a Vet. internship and I plan on doing a Pharmacy internship too just to see if I want to go into veterinary medicine or pharmacy. My school offers a scientific research/internship program too, (I hope I get in lol) and they said that these are good for students who have interest in medicine and research, or for students who are unsure, so you’re fine and colleges won’t look down on you for exploring you interests. :)

what is an internship program

How did you guys find internship programs?

By sprinkling pixie dust, waving a magic wand, and ridiculous connections.

@Ivy My school promotes the NCI cancer research opportunity very well. My school is good for informing students about these types of opportunities. Outside internships such as veterinary, pharmacy, and hospital internships are independent and you have to find these on your own. I would talk to you counselor about these research programs and see if there are any in your area.

I’m so jealous I’m almost foaming at the mouth. I’ve emailed a few local companies in my field of choice about internships, but NONE of them has even written back.

^ What field are you going into?
