My dream college is Cornell University. I had a 3.7 GPA in 8th grade and now i have a 3.4 gpa. Im in all honors classes, spanish 2, and orchestra. I do FBLA, Chamber orchestra, and i’m a math tutor, and model UN. Will my GPA of 3.4 destroy my chances of getting into Cornell? Also do you think i need more extra-curricular activities?
It’s the first quarter. Don’t freak out. Colleges only see the annual average, not specific quarters. Get all A’s and maybe a few B’s and you’ll have a 4.0 Freshman year. Focus your EC’s on what you want to major in. Try to be unique and strive to be the best in whatever you do.
why, specifically, is your dream school Cornell?
I visited Cornell before and the campus seems really nice and i heard that cornell is good for majoring in Biology.
