@almost there Yeah, exactly. At least birth control can help that a little.

Then again BC gives us lovely side effects.

Is this a complaining thread?

but of course.

Girls are not real. They are inventions of Soviet Spies!

^ -_____________- smmfh…

Err, I feel pretty real. And I’m definitely thinking so…
you know what comes next.

Yep, my periods are so shi**y. For at least one day, I’m throwing up at least three times. It was so funny because I once got the stomach flu and I thought "this is awesome. " It was nothing compared to my period.

^^ It’s a reference from a thread in the good times of HSL.

Back when I was a new blood.

You mean one/two years ago with Mapleleafs and all those peeps/homies?

It was around maybe 2-3 weeks or maybe a month after I had joined.

Older than that.

Good times.

Famous CCer quotes:
Let us not pine for the the forgotten annals of time but revel in the beauty, the crisp resplendence of now

Mosby Marion:
Girls do not exist. They are a now-disproved theory created by the ancients in order to rationalize stupid things they did.

^ sounds like a discussion in our English class. Haha we go off on tangents for 40 minutes at a time.

Guys have 3 important things they need to live up to:

Unfortunately, many guys can’t follow these 3 rules… hooray for being male!

Honestly, if you’re lucky enough to actually be on CC, life will most probably not be a tragedy just because you’re a girl/guy. Some girls have easy lives than many men, other girls have harder lives. Let’s just deal with it.

“We have to work twice as hard to get half the credit. Fortunately this is not hard.”

:D ;)

PS Although frankly, being a girl is basically like being in hell in some parts of the world.

Ohh,

it’s probably already been stated but men who are virgins are much more criticized than women who are virgins.
OT: at your high school, are people made fun of for being virgins?

Half of the things in the list are about being female, not about being a girl or a woman. It’s fairly ridiculous to consider those things. Most of the things on the list are really, really not what people interested in the pursuit for equality should have as their main concentration. It’s a mostly superficial and vapid list which only has a few items which begin to get to the heart of why inequality remains a factor.

And then, I also have some problems with it as a person who sometimes leans more to something akin to womanism rather than to feminism (especially when considering fricking third wave).

I had to register for the draft to get stafford loans. So if we go to war and I get drafted, all the women that got financial aid will still be nice and safe here.

You can argue this issue until the end of time, and you will never have a winner.

^ But do women really belong in the army? They’re weaker and they’re a distraction. The only reason for them to join is because of numbers. Its not a good environment for the women.

^Are you fricking kidding me? That’s offensive on so many levels. Just because someone is a woman, you think she can’t want to defend her country or be GOOD at doing so? Way to make a totally asinine generalization. And stop patronizing, please-- “A good environment for the women”? Oh, so you’re a protector of Fair Womenfolk who Knows What Is Good For Them? Give me a break.

That it’s even a QUESTION that men have insane privilege over men is really… mind boggling. ***. Of course men have more privileged lives than women do.

That said, the OP list is clearly vapid. I don’t know why that’s a question either.
