I took a remedial math class (Trigonometry) at a community college. Trigonometry does not count in my GPA when applying to UC schools, but does it count when applying to grad schools?

I imagine so. But I doubt they dwell on them if you complete higher courses in the same subject area, with a higher grade.

Primarily, they’re going to look at your UD coursework and performance, and any research you’ve done as an undergrad. They’ll be focusing on relevant stuff, your remedial classes aren’t relevant, really.

i agree with EmpathyInAnarchy, I would also think that Grad schools, would consider your upper division coursework much, much more than they would any lower division courswork that you have.
