Do grants/scholarships reduce aid?

Can anyone please tell me if any of the following schools my daughter was accepted to will reduce their aid package based on her receiving grants, etc. between now and the fall? (Or where to find this info.) I know many do. It almost isn't worth going through all the trouble of applying for grants, etc.

Bucknell
Wake Forest
Holy Cross
Colgate

Thanks a lot for the imput

Congrats to your daughter, she has a great set of schools to chose from.

Regarding outside scholarships:

they are used first to reduce the self help component of the FA package (loans and workstudy). after reducing the self help component, outside scholarships then reduce the grant scholarship portion given by each school. Most outside scholarships do not reduce the EFC unless it is big enough to first reduce the schools entire aid package.

Your best bet would be to look up the financial aid section at each school so that you definitely know how they handle outside scholarships.

Thanks for the info. I will take your advice and check individual colleges policy.
