<p>One of the condition for major change is that you need to have HS academic qualifications required for your intended college as if you are a first time freshman applicant. </p>
<p>In other words, if you want to change from college of ag to college of engineering, your HS academic records need to be good enough such that Cal Poly would have admitted you as a new freshman to college of engineering the first time around.</p>
<p>This is done to prevent students gaining from admissions to Cal Poly through less competitive college (and with lower HS grades) and then changing into more competitive colleges such as engineering and architecture.</p>
