Do I accept financial aid from UCSC, even if I'm on waitlist for Davis?

<p>I accepted admission to UCSC just in case I don't get into Davis. I don't know if I accept financial aid from UCSC, because I'm on waitlist for Davis, but if I get into Davis, I'm definitely going to go there. So what do I do?</p>

<p>You accept the aid. If you get off the waitlist, you will write UCSC and tell them you were given a spot off the waitlist at another school and will not be attending…and also thank them for the aid they offered you and say you will not be using it because you will not be attending their school.</p>

<p>yes, even the loans. If you get off of the WL and withdraw from UCSC, the loans will not be finished processing at that campus – (they wait until fall to see if you actually enroll). Instead, you will be able to borrow at Davis.</p>
