I'm confused on what I should answer or not. Do i answer questions about my parents? What difference does it make?

In most cases, unless there are extenuating circumstances, your parents should be filling out the forms and answering the questions about themselves and you. Everything needs to be answered accurately to be eligible for aid.

You’re a HS sr, so assuming you are a dependent of your parents, then yes, their financial information must be on FA forms.

Agree w/saintfan, have your parents fill out or at least help you fill out the forms, there are things on it that won’t be understood by most HS students.

It makes a huge difference, you and your parents sign the forms saying that the information you submit is accurate. The only way colleges can give FA packages is to have valid financial information from all students.
