Do I count my SSI in FAFSA?

I was trying to search for this exact answer but I can't exactly find what i'm looking for so I came here. I currently get SSI (have been for two years) and when I was completing the FAFSA application, I read on a sidebar note that I do not count disability but that could mean many things. So do I need to count my SSI?

EDIT: I went through my fafsa again and the side bar reported: Do not include student aid, earned income credit, child tax credit, welfare payments, untaxed Social Security benefits, Supplemental Security Income-

Just double checking, I am NOT including my SSI right?

You’re correct. See https://fafsa.ed.gov/fotw1314/help/totalOtherUntaxedIncome.htm</a>

I’ve been wondering about this as well. If your parent receives disability as well, do we not count that?

You do not count SSDI, but you DO report any disability received other than SSDI.
