Do I even have a chance at getting in?

I am a US student from Florida. Do they care about diversity at all?

I have had decent grades throughout high school. Maybe a 3.6 unweighted GPA

Sat I: Math-600 Reading-670 Writing-670

SatII: Math1-480 Literature-550 US History-540

I will have taken a total of 4 AP's upon graduating, with A's and B's in all of them. Plus countless honors.

I know my SATII are abominable but my best friend had died just a few days before, and I was a total mess. Is that something worth calling McGill about and explaining?

Ohh and I applied for the Bachelor of Arts and Science, AND the Faculty of Arts. Do they accept you from one and not the other?

It's my #1 choice, and I was just wondering if it's still worth aiming for.

Thanks!

Looking at this post, it looks as though your problem was with your test scores.

Here’s a link to the “score minima”, which may be helpful to others with similar questions: [Admissions Standards - U.S. High School | Applying to Undergraduate Studies - McGill University](http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/standards/unitedstates)

Sorry…

Did you take the ACT? You can submit that instead of the SAT II subject tests. Otherwise, unfortunately do not meet the minimums. There is always the opportunity to transfer!
