Do I even have a chance at getting matched?

Definitely Princeton for me. I’ll surely reapply RD if I don’t get matched tomorrow. What about you?

No match here. Guess my chances weren’t as high as everyone predicted haha.

Is it normal/okay to be applying to fourteen schools? That’s currently my intention; I will get fee waivers for all but one (between QB and ECO) so finances won’t really be an issue and I would like some options come April so I feel as though I need to apply to many due to selectivity.

Princeton, Duke, Stanford, Yale, UPenn, Notre Dame, Georgetown, JHU, Boston U, Northeastern, UVA, Swarthmore, Columbia, and Brown.

I definitely wouldn’t say there’s any set number. Had I not been accepted early decision I would have applied to a similar number of schools for that very same reason so I would say it is okay and understandable. You have a good chance at all of those schools but it seems rather reach heavy? I am glad to see Duke on the list (; good luck!

Well several of the schools, Brown, Columbia, Swarthmore, and UVA aren’t definites and they are really only on my list because of the application waiver that I would receive from Questbridge. I was hoping that Boston and Northeastern could both be considered safeties for me? And Duke is actually my second choice haha. So I would love to be joining you there next year.

BU and Northeastern would probably be safeties for you. I’m applying to those too, and hope they have good financial aid.

Based on what I have read and all communication I have had with the financial aid office at both schools, their merit and need based aid would make both affordable for my family even with a low income.

…bump?

Anyone have any last thoughts on chances, suggestions, advice?

I’m sure you have a good chance at any of the schools you listed. Good Luck :)
