Do I even have a chance for Ivy's?

GPA: 3.6 UW, 4.1 UW

Most rigorous course schedule possible
IB Diploma

SAT: 2060 total (690 CR 710 M 660 W)
taking again in Nov, taking ACT Saturday, taking subject tests (Lit/Math II/Physics in December)

Only IB test I've taken so far: Film SL (HL is not offered)-7

DECA Area 1st place
DECA state 3rd place
DECA Nationals competitor and top 40

3 years of DECA
Working 21-30 hours a week since junior year as a cook
Violin since 4th grade
Played in a Youth Symphony Orchestra since 9th grade
Model United Nations since junior year
Film club (this year, it's first year)
Drama club (since sophomore year, I go to a 10-12 high school, not a 9-12)

If I can get around a 2200/34 ACT and 730+ on the SAT II's, do I have a shot at Columbia, USC, Brown, NYU Tisch, Cornell, U of Chicago, Washington University in St. Louis, etc?

GPA’s on the low end for most of the schools you’ve listed.

My sophomore year was good (3.78 or so) and first semester of junior was just as good. I had to pick up more hours second semester for family reasons so it dropped (3.3, eek), but otherwise the trend is upward. I’m hoping I can prove that w/ first semester senior and that my counselor will be convincing on the school forms.

I’m aware that GPA is my weak point, though. I think I’ll do much better on tests this time.
