Do I even have a chance? Low GPA, Decent Test Scores

Hello, it's the summer and I'm already starting to write application essays and getting a bit nervous. Wanna help calm my nerves and give me a chance? Thanks in advance!

Wanting to apply Bio Engineering
I will most likely be applying ED but what are my chances with ED & without?

Thanks!

I think your chances look pretty good though if you check out the thread with the link to the latest admissions statistics you may have a better idea. I wouldn't take the Physics SAT2 again, it's fine. You'd do better working on the CR score.

I'm taking Phys. again because I'm almost certain I can get 800 on it. The last time I only got a 750, because the proctor was new and very distracting (making phone calls during test, didn't know test center number) so I lost 5-10 minutes.

"I think your chances look pretty good" - Is that with or without ED?

And could I have a link to the admissions statistics; I can't seem to find it. Maybe it got archived or something?

Thanks very much! More chances would be awesome!

(I'm on my brother's account by the way)

This is the most recent admissions statistics, it breaks things down by school but not by EA http://my.cmu.edu/site/admission/menuitem.edce48707aab43c019300710d4a02008/ My recollection is that ED at CMU over all was a difference of about 10%, but I have no idea if that is consistent across the schools. If it's your first choice and financial aid is not an issue apply ED.
