I came to American 2009 summer. really low ACT score, great essay, decent E/Cs..... do u guys think I even have a chance of getting in??

and good luck for all u EA applicants :)

Ya I think you’re fine, you definitely have a good chance…

Safe Sex Educator? What a job lol. You’re scores are on the low end but your profile is impressive. I’d say you’re getting in, 80% chance.

haha I know everyone told me that lol
well thanks for ur opinion :)

good luck for all u guys !!

I’m amazed that ACT score goes with those ECs

yea… since I came to America 1yr and 4 months ago, just following the school work was the biggest thing and couldn’t even work on my ACTs… :(

The really good EC’s are math based. Keep in mind he came from Korea. The other three sections of the ACT were probably really difficult for him. I’m not too surprised.

i guess it was a language barrier thing

kinda… even though my speaking is perfect, I’m just mad that my english ability will be judged only based on my ACT score…

hell dude, I’ve been here all my life and there were still questions that didn’t make sense on some parts

of course man… since ACT is testing ur ability on everything (M,E,R,S) it’s still hard for natives. I hope I can get in…
I heard that this yr is the first time they decided to use commonapp and the amount of ppl increased crazily… (it was 8000 last yr, this yr is 25000. just for EAs,some Rollings, some RDs)
