i go to a tech school, i'm certified in Microsoft 2007 and OSHA

i work 2 jobs.

I'm looking to major in International business and minor in prelaw...

do i even have a chance for a good school if my SAT score stays this low?

Of course. SATs aren’t everything.

In general, standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT are predictive of a student’s ability to succeed academically, but there are some students that feel their actual body of academic work outweighs their test performances. Some people are not good test takers, and there are other extenuating circumstances that can affect the accuracy of test scores. Maybe you weren’t feeling well on the test day, maybe you were busy with other assignments for school, or what have you.

You should do your best to get your SAT scores up if you can, but you should also understand that they are just one aspect of the application, and having low scores doesn’t necessarily kill your chances at getting in.

thank you very much! (and sorry for the late reply) this makes me feel a little bit better.
