Do I even have a chance at acceptance? Can being Latino carry me, even though I have mediocre stats?</p>

<p>I would actually venture to say that you have a pretty decent chance. Your freshman GPA isn’t even considered so the fact that it’s low shouldn’t matter; your UC GPA and SAT scores a bit below average but (honestly) being a URM should carry you. Work on those essays. Good luck.</p>
