Its just I hear Wharton is really tough to get into and my parents think that my ECs/Awards are lacking especially on academic side. But my dads Asian so its kind of expected.

Yes, you have a chance, just like every other top HS student has a chance. Stop bumping the thread. No one is responding because you come across as simply fishing for compliments.

If you want to go to Penn, apply. If you don’t, then don’t apply. Much easier decision than figuring out whether you have a chance to get in and then deciding whether to apply.

Your ECs actually look really good, imo. Lots of sports (and leadership within them) and internships (though I’m not sure how useful or meaningful they were). Focus on your scores because Wharton needs a Math Level 2 SAT Subject Test, and you should really study for that if you only got a 740 on Math Level 1. Wharton apparently cares a lot about math, recs, and work experience.

I can’t wait for a couple more hours, please give me an answer.

When nobody is answering, then that’s because no one has an answer. There is no answer to a chance thread because no one has the answer on CC.

Other than that, I want to ask you something. You are going to take Chinese II next year, did you do any other language? If not, then that’s going to hinder your application. Many people want to go to Wharton (if you haven’t noticed on CC) but it’s not like regular admissions.

You’ll get in for sure. Upenn especially looks at legacy, which gives you a leg-up.
I notice that you did a program related to business over the summer - are you planning to apply to Wharton?

Yes. Im definitely going to apply to Wharton. How hard is it to get into Wharton when your Accepted at UPenn? I really don’t understand how it all works.

Read other threads or the Penn website to learn about the application process!

You apply to one of Penn’s four schools when you submit your application: College, Wharton, Engineering or Nursing. You cannot list a second choice; if you get declined from one, you are declined from Penn. Apply to the school you want to go to, not the one you think is easiest to get into (though, I gotta say, if you’re male and apply to Nursing, you have a hell of a good shot… you’d also be doing the ridiculously hard nursing curriculum freshman year, though)

" How hard is it to get into Wharton when your Accepted at UPenn? I really don’t understand how it all works. "

It is really hard to transfer to Wharton, trust me.

“Yes, I took Spanish 1,2,and 3 honors and got As in all of them and an A in Chinese 1 last year. Do you think this will be a problem?”
Ehh that might be (not 100% sure) but colleges like yo see that you stayed with one language for more than three year, preferably your whole high school year (Hence if you started at 1 in freshman year, they would like to see that you finished 4 and if you started at 2 in freshman year, they want you to see that you get to 5). Although this might not be a big factor (I don’t know about Penn’s preference on language) but I know a lot of school likes you to pick one or two language and stick with it throughout high school (again I’m not 100% sure).

You don’t seem to have a true passion with your EC’s which might hinder some what but not much.
Also I have to say that Wharton cares little about legacy to tell you the truth. It’s because there are so many people that are applying and they know that their school is the best (or at least one of) so they want the best kids, not the kid whose parents went there.
