I have a somewhat different situation in that I graduated high school in 2014, enlisted in the Army and am now applying to college for the first time. Unfortunately, I wasn’t the greatest student in high school, but my grades do show some upward movement before kinda slipping a little senior year. While I was deployed however, I did take 2 college courses and so my college GPA is a 4.0 since I’m definitely more inclined to actually do homework now (not sure if they’ll take that into consideration at all, but it can’t hurt). Since I only have 6 credits, I’ll still be applying as a Freshman however. I originally applied Early Action, but I emailed admissions and if they let me, I’ll be switching to Early Decision 1. I’ve also heard that NEU is very military friendly which gives me a littttle hope.
3.23 GPA UW (not entirely sure my weighted one but I’d guess ~3.4/3.5): I did significantly better my sophomore and junior years, but I let my grades slip a little my senior year once I enlisted in the military unfortunately.

My school didn’t offer very many AP classes. I took both the AP Spanish and AP Stats tests despite my school not actually offering either class.
EC (Lacking a little bit since the EC’s I did in high school basically took up all of my free time):
Varsity Baseball and Basketball during my sophomore year
Volunteer work all throughout high school and afterwards (I eventually earned a medal from the Army for this)
Junior and Senior year I was involved in Marching Band which basically took up all of my free time
School Plays and Musicals all 4 years
