Do I even stand a chance?

I'm looking to transfer for fall 2007. I'm attending a CC now in Florida and will be graduating in the spring of '07 with my AA. I have a 3.69 now with a year to bring it up, what I can. I'm a member of Phi Theta Kappa a CC honor society (not sure if that matters) I do community service and work part-time. I took time off after high school to travel; I knew I didn't want to go to college yet. My high school grades aren't awful, but they aren't stellar either. My dream school is UNC-CH so I'm wondering what anyone's in put would be about my chances at getting in. I know I could go to school anywhere in Florida but I don't want to stay here. I'd love any advice and to know what everyone's thoughts are. Thanks so much in advance I really appreciate it.

you should be fine getting in there. once you've shown you can handle CC (any type of college), you will be fine

...bump...

...bump...

...bump...

Please help I'm stressing

Well, presuming you took normal gen ed courses and not just fluff, and that you took the required courses (math, english and foreign language), you should be fine. But I'm presuming you must have taken at least 50 units at community college, because otherwise you still have to take the SAT or ACT to apply to UNC-CH, and you didn't indicate your scores on that.

As long as you have those 50+ units, you should get in with no problems. The 3.69 GPA will do it for you.

Best of success.

I should have the 50+ credits. Thank you very much and I will keep my fingers crossed. Thanks agian.
