oh gosh sorry id int' mean to post it twice. i'm just really stressed and nervous. sorry

That's okay, Jcrew. I deleted your other thread, so now there's only one.

plz does anybodoy have any idea

no one has any idea at all?

I think you have a pretty good to fair chance, your ACT's pretty good and your SAT's seem within range even a little bit higher.. I got in ED with lower SAT's. I think your good.. Did you show any interest? visiting? interview? or maybe even contact your admissions counselor. Make sure you show interest its BIG at lehigh. You should possibly contact the coach at Lehigh if you haven't done so already. I think you have a great shot =)

thank you someone finally with an answer. any other opinions. how would i go about contacting the admissions counselor?

Just go to the lehigh website, click on admissions and then go to the A-Z index then click "admissions staff" which is under A. Then just look for someone who is in charge of your area based on state and county.

but then what would you say? like what do you email them about?

I am assuming you are a junior.
If there is no listing for open houses in your area, you can ask if they plan to host any in your area or come to your school.
You could also ask about the contact person for the sport you are ranked in. It is too soon for coaches to contact you (per NCAA, if you are a junior) but there are no restrictions on the athlete contacting the coach.

hey please1, with me I was really nervous applying as an ED applicant since it was binding if i were to be accepted. So i basically asked questions like what would happen if my transcripts were to be late, or what other activities or informational sessions I could be a part of to get to know more about lehigh. And make sure you put your name somewhere in the email, I had emailed my admissions counselor prior to an informational session and when I saw him during a tour I said hello, introduced myself and he knew exactly who I was from the email, so it helps! Just basicaaly show you're REALLLYY interested but not in way that could be kind of annoying and definately don't email more than once or twice lol. Basically, if you have a question just ask they're so helpful and they will remember you =).

midterm grades finally arrived. how important are the grades and are they going to affect my chances in any way. My stats are above and after the first two quarters i got mostly As with one C+.

^^^^ anyone have any input?

I think they are important. What did this semester grades do to your cummulative GPA?

even with that C+, i actually think my GPA increased to about 3.75 or maybe a little higher. And also, the C+ is in probably the hardest class ever created. I just don't want my decision to be based on this one grade.

does anybody have any input?

With a 3.75 and hard classes you are in good shape. You could always send a letter to your admission rep or call him/her regarding the grade. You could explain how it is the hardest class, how well you did compared to others, and that you hope that is does not excessively influence their admission decision. Just be genuine. It can't hurt.

i'm in the same exact situation, i had all A's and one C+ in one of my APs that was particularly hard this marking period so I'm hoping it doesn't have a big impact on me esp for EDII. good luck!

i'm really thinking the same thing. i don't want them to base their decision on that one C that i got in a tough AP class.
