<p>If it is that important for you to be a business major, I would go to DePaul. There is no guarantee whatsoever that you will make it into the B school at UIUC...ever. Doesn't matter if your grades are good. They take a "holistic" approach to evaluate your application for transfering to business...meaning they do not have any solid criteria for you to meet to be automatic.</p>

<p>That all boils down to you. If you do well anywhere, you will land a job. There is no magic place out there that guarantees anything.</p>

<p>Fatseal -- Companies look for brand names. I can tell you that I have recruited for a number of consulting and software companies & we will not recruit at DePaul but we will at UIUC. This does not mean that you cannot get a good job if you choose to go to DePaul. What the brand name schools offer is the networking oppties that smaller schools do not. </p>
