Do I have a BALANCED list of colleges?

*Too bad its in alabama though I dont think I would ever willingly go into the deep south

LOL…Tuscaloosa does not feel like the “deep south” at all. Tuscaloosa was voted Most Livable City in America. I don’t know what you think Alabama is like, but I doubt it’s accurate.

I’m from California, and I’ve lived in Alabama a few years now, and I’ve experienced ZERO culture shock or anything.

Good-sized American cities are not that much different anymore. The influences from national companies, transplants, etc, really cause a melting pot situation.

The University of Alabama has about 44% OOS students. Over 50% of this year’s frosh class is from OOS. Over 1000 students are at Bama are from Texas alone.

As mentioned above…with your stats, you’d get at least full tuition. That’s assured if you apply before Dec 1st. I think you should visit, you’d be surprised.

*Presidential Scholar
An out-of-state first-time freshman student who meets the December 1st scholarship priority deadline, has a 32-36 ACT or 1400-1600 SAT score [critical reading and math scores only] and at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA will be selected as a Presidential Scholar and will receive the value of out-of-state tuition for four years.
