I want to go to Rutgers Engineering VERY BADLY. I dont know my chances.

The schools I want are:

Rutgers (BADLY)
Penn State
U Pitt
Rochester Inst. of Tech.
Rensaleer Poly

I would think that you are in at all of these.

I think Rutgers is a realistic shot. I dunno about Penn State. Isn't it pretty touch for OOS?

"like guitar and community service stuff and hospital hours."
Do you have more specific activities or any leadership type ECs?

you might learn how to spell Rensselaer before you apply...

But I think you are in all of this level of schools, and especially Rutgers as a state resident. Your EC's don't matter particularly to state schools such as Rutgers. Your SAT's are strong for Rutgers and above average for every other school on your list, except that your math SAT is a little low for RPI, but your ethnicity will help you with admissions there.

Bump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

your in at rutgers i got a freind who got in for the same as you he had a 3.0 GPA and average scores, as a NJ res your in, now if you were an out of stater id say its a bit harder

Dude, what? I bumped to get more responces. I had only a few responces so far, I just wanted more to be self assured that it was a large amount of people feeling the same way rather than a few people. Its like doing an experiement and getting 2 results which are both positive and saying the experiment is a success. I was just lookin for more thoughts.

I can't answer for all the colleges, but you are definatly in Rutgers and Penn State (But APPLY EARLY!!!)
