Do I have a Chance at all :(?

<p>I have been dreaming about Brown for as long as I can remember. However, my test score is not very good. My highest ACT has been a 31 :(:frowning: However, I take two languages and am in AP art and plan on having a double major in biology and art. I also work 30 hours per week in a boutique but have volunteer hours from doing an art class for elementary schoolers. My grades/classes are as follows:</p>

<p>Nice work Nibbles94. It seems you would have a chance at Brown – BUT – please remember that for every 100 applications that Brown gets, 90 of those apps are from qualified candidates, and of those 90, they accept about 12 applications. It’s a crap shoot whether you will get in or not. It’s out of your control. Try to focus on something you can control – like choosing your #2-5 colleges. Who knows, you might earn a merit scholarship. Be prepared and excited about your #2-5 choices. The odds are not in anyone’s favor when applying to the Ivys.</p>
