Basically I'm stressing because I'm now a senior in high school and it's almost time to start applying to colleges. I really really really want to get into a direct entry nursing program. My top two choices are Temple and Penn State. I have a 3.75 GPA but I have never taken any honor classes until my junior year which were English 11 A,English 11 B, Government A, and Government B. This year I plan on taking AP Biology and one other honor class. I think my grades are good and my extra curricular activities are okay. But my SAT score. I do so much research and I see that most people that get into these programs have a 1700 or higher. The first time I took the SAT I scored a 1520, and the second time I scored a 1500 (I studied way more for the second time). But my highest scores were M-500 R-520 W-520. Should I just take a chance and apply to all of my choices and hope for the best or study my butt off again and take it a third time in October. If I take it a third time chances are I will score the same or only a little bit higher. Then I'd just be applying sort of late. I don't know :/ What should I do? If anyone knows what programs I would most likely get into please mention them. Thank you and sorry this was so long !
