<p>I am going to be a senior this fall and just got my SAT scores back today.
Currently this is where I'm at:
SAT Superscores: CR-540 :( Writing-660 Math-710 = 1910.
ACT 1st attempt: 27, new scores aren't out yet.
Took APUSH and APCALC(ab) tests but scores aren't out yet.
All A's except junior year semester 1.
My schedule was APUSH, APCalc AB, English 3 H, IMP (math program at my school) 3-4 H, Spanish 2, Psychology H, Chemistry H, Speech and Debate 2 H. I got a B first semester in english and calculus but second semester I got all A's so my GPA is around a 3.8-3.9 unweighted and about a 4.7-4.8 weighted.
Senior year, my classes are APEcon/APGov, AP chemistry, AP Physics, AP Calc BC, AP literature, Spanish 3 H, Speech and Debate 3 H, Statistics H. </p>
<p>At my school I am salutatorian. </p>

<p>The school I REALLY want to get into right now and will apply Early Decision to is NYU - Stern. I want to major in business - finance/econ, my dream has always been to make it into wall street. I would love to minor in something artsy (acting for film) because hollywood is also a huge dream but it's unrealistic so I'm chasing the wall street one more.
Some other school choices include Penn (wharton), Stanford, Duke, Berkeley, Cornell, Columbia, Brown, Chicago. </p>
<p>Do I have a chance at any of these? My SAT/ACT scores are kind of low and I want to retake both this fall however I won't have them in time for NYU ED I.
How far of improvement do I need to aim for before I should even think about these schools? The fact that I am a girl and I am asian does not help.. Should I be aiming lower?</p>
CR is a huge pain for me too! I can’t seem to improve…I’m also applying to business schools like NYU-Stern. I wish the best of luck, but really don’t apply to Ivies unless you’re a URM or recruited athlete due to your scores. (I know that sounds harsh but that’s how it is with these Ivies)</p>
