<p>GPA: 3.4.. My sophomore year was a bad time in my life, I had issues that I'd rather not talk about online. I know those grades are killing me.. two classes destroyed me..
SAT: 1800, want to raise to 2000+
EC's: 75 hours community service, 2 years red cross club, 2 years recycling club (also treasurer), 2 years of Make a Wish club, 2 years of stand up to cancer club, 2 years biology club (also treasurer, so 2 board member positions), Link Crew leader, Link Crew tutor, Part of men's choir (we have periodic performances), part of drama cast (also have periodic performances)</p>

<p>I think you have great chances at Riverside, Merced, and Santa Cruz, and if you can produce great essays and teacher recs and maybe explain what exactly went wrong as far as the lower grades go, you might also be able to get into Irvine, Davis, or Santa Barbara.</p>
