Do I have a chance at BU, NYU, Northeastern?

I applied at RD to these schools and I am unsure if I have the credentials to get in. I currently have a 3.75 weighted GPA, that has improved every year since my freshman year. My school does not use an unweighted GPA. My course load has also gotten progressively harder every year. I had a bad second semester junior year due to my parents separation (Only 1 C+, Most were B’s), but I followed it up with a weighted 4.43 this semester during senior year. I am in the Top 30-35% of my class. I plan on studying Business/Finance.

Varsity Cross Country - 4 Years
Varsity Cross Country Captain - 1 year
Varsity Track and Field - 3 Years

2014 - Finished A Marathon in a time just short of Qualifying for the Boston Marathon

Volunteering at a Gala for Diabetes
Built a tricycle path for preschoolers
Sold Christmas tress to benefit a boy scout troop
Counselor at a Cross Country Camp

Intern at Real Estate Company -

3.75 weighted gpa is kinda low but you’ll probs get into all of them

Yeah, it’s rough with that GPA, but I think that’s really the only knock against you for these schools. Assuming your recommendations + essays are above average, I’d wager you’ll get into at least 2 of these universities. No doubt you’ll have options come April.

I will have close to a 4.5 for this semester which will raise my GPA to a 3.85, do you think that will help? @ivyhopes12

Definitely, that’ll get you much closer to their averages.

I think you have a solid chance for all these, as long as you explained your lower GPA junior year. It is an understandable situation and you have pretty good test scores and a rigorous courseload, esp. senior year.

This was already said, but you have unique EC’s and strong test scores. Only thing holding you back is your GPA and class rank. You have a good chance at all three and should get into one, if not two or all.

If there was a family conflict causing a low GPA for one semester they will understand that. Your GPA is kind of low, but your ECs make up for that considering the schools you want to go to. I believe you have a good chance for all 3.
