Thanks for all of the help!

If anyone has any input at all, I would be greatly appreciative! Very few people who have attended my high school apply, much less are accepted, to any of the Ivies, so my counselors have no idea how to answer any of my questions and I’m really on my own through this process. Any sort of feedback would be great!

I think you’re on the right path but apply ED if Dartmouth is your number 1. But work your butt off to get those scores above 2150/32 to have a really good chance.

Test scores are on the low side. Are you known to the debate coach? In other words, have you debated on the national circuit? That’s the only potential hook I can see. You have excellent qualifications for many schools. I am not sure Dartmouth is one of them.

I took the ACT without so much as opening a prep book the first time, and I plan on studying (very hard) and working to get my score up. As for the SAT I took it again in December but I doubt my score went up that much, so I’m really relying on getting a better ACT score.
I went to nationals last year in Public Forum Debate but did not meet the Dartmouth coach, I hope to make it again this year and perhaps I will meet him/her? Thank you guys for the feedback!
