.... please be honest.... what I'm really concerned about is my grades... they suck really hard...

SAT 2120

Also, out of the 400 students I was the only person to take AP Bio and Honors Pre-Cal Junior Year (AP Bio and Honors Pre-Cal are the hardest classes you can take at my school)

Honors Pre-Cal= Only 12 Students, all Math Team

gpa is too low. Hope for a 4.0+ senior year then maybe.

I will get a 4.0+ because my schedule is not that difficult

You would have had a great chance if you had a slightly higher gpa. However, even now you stand a good chance. Your test scores are prolly average and your ec’s are good. Mention why your grades dipped, and you might have a decent chance.

Good Luck!

Thank you!

I was browsing CC just to see what prospective students were posting as I was once in your position. First of all, I am sorry for your father’s illness and I hope he makes/made a healthy recovery. That being said, I honestly think your do not have that great a shot. Emory is an up and coming school and with the average gpa at 3.8 and an acceptance rate just short of 20%, you must do something to make your application stand out. I suggest if Emory is your number 1 choice to apply Ed and visit the school to show your interest. As much as it sucks to say, it’s also harder to get into Emory as an asian ( I"m asian) just because the ratio 30-35% is getting unproportionate (defirmative action if you will). Good luck!

Thank You.
