Do I have a chance at Georgetown?

Hey :]
one thing to note:
I moved to India half way through tenth grade from Bangkok, Thailand and my school's didn't offer the same activities, sports, etc.

SAT 1: 1470 (740 CR, 730 Math)
GPA: 4.36 weighted, 3.9 unweighted (I have some B's)
Rank: top 11% (school doesn't give rank)

My SAT 2's are weak:
Math: 730
Lit: 670
French: 660

Honor Societies: President of the Tri-M Honor Society, National Honor Society

EC: Honor Ensemble Choir, President of the A capella Group, Jazz Choir (all four years), Varsity Cross Country(10th Grade), Varsity Swimming (9th grade- i stopped because of health reasons), Club/Varsity Badminton (10-12th grade), Eco-3 (environmental Club), President of the Hope Foundation (a group that works with an NGO for AIDS), treasurer of the Invisible Children in 10th Grade. IASAS MUN qualifier (four-year), IASAS Debate qualifier (9th/10th grade- moved before I could participate, Debate/Forensics Club (11th Grade)

do I have a shot? :/

Also, I’m applying to the Walsh School of Foreign Service.

It’s hard to say because you didn’t really have a chance at developing your ECs. Your SAT IIs are a little weak; GPA and SAT I is okay.

You’ve got a chance but it could go either way. Also since you’re international, it could end up depending on whether or not you apply for financial aid.

Good luck!
