Think you have a very good chance at acceptance! Good luck

I also think you have a good chance. I would suggest you take a look at the thread about showing interest at CWRU. This is important to do. You seem like you’re exactly the type of student who thrives at case western… there are a lot of students who contribute volunteer hours to the community at CWRU. I wish you a great fall term at your HS.

1400 is not week. I think you definitely have a chance.

thanks for your input! i’m planning on doing early acceptance so does that make a big difference? I’m also planning on scheduling an interview.

Definitely, it’s not hard to get into.

I think you have a good chance, especially for engineering. My current CWRU engineering freshman student has similar stats as yours.

@DzJoker Early decision generally helps. I think it’s great you are planning to do an interview. I would suggest you get that scheduled for before the early decision application date. Just email the admissions counselor assigned to your state, which is listed on the admissions webpage. My daughter really enjoyed her interview and it was a helpful in learning more about CWRU. Good luck to you!

thanks, i’ve submitted my request for an interview. I’m in frequent contact with the admissions officer in case that makes a difference
