Do I have a chance at La Salle??

I got a 21 on my ACTs, and an 81% average GPA. My sister and aunt are both alumnus too.

I’d really like to attend La Salle! After looking at their College Board page, it says they accept 78% of applicants. Although I know that doesn’t mean I’ll be accepted, even though it’s a high amount, I’m curious to know if I have a chance!

I do have one failed class (an elective) on my transcript, due to a particularly bad bout of depression I went through during high school. I know that’s no excuse, but it’s the reason as to why it’s there. I’m really worried that that will seriously affect my decision to La Salle negatively (plus my not-so-hot GPA).

I’m trying to schedule an interview as well, plus I’m confident in my essay. I know those factors can’t change my grades though.

EDIT: i also have taken honors and AP classes throughout my 4 years at high school

well i never heard of the school, but with a 78 percent acceptance rate with ur alumnis shouldnt be too hard. a 21 act is quite low, but i think a 81 gpa is alright for the school. if ur stats compare well to ur aunt and sisters, u should be fine.
