<p>I have a 24 ACT ( I know it’s low)
A 3.83 unweighted GPA
ranked in top 20% of my class
Lots of EC’s (Jobs, captain on sports teams, etc)
I just need a few peoples’ opinions</p>
<p>WOW, I have the almost the same stats my sat’s are low but equivilent to a 25 or 26 (1140), my act is 23
My gpa is exactly the same unweighted, weighted its like 3.88 or 3.9
Top 15 percent
I have what I think to be good ecs, like NHS, 2 varsity teams, various stuff, bout 75-100 community service act.
Im wanna go for Mech Engineering</p>

<p>i would say u are in… I was the exact opposite applicant as you though so I’m not sure… i had like a 2.7 GPA, a 31 ACT, very few ECs, with a very strong schedule and got in…</p>
<p>I would assume if i can get in with a 2.7 you are pretty much in with a 3.83</p>
<p>A classmate of my son’s did not get in with a 24 ACT despite a 3.8 GPA , being football & basketball captain, and first in his family to go to college.</p>
