The SAT isn’t out of 2400 anymore. It’s out of 1600, and for Pomona/Pitzer, you should aim for at least 1450.

you could also apply test optional to Pitzer which is good too

Pomona is harder to get into than Pitzer. Pomona I would aim for at least 1500, but Pitzer it honestly doesn’t matter since you don’t have to report your scores if you do end up doing bad. GPA wise and extracurricular wise you seem fine. Just note that a school like Pitzer is very selective on the type of student they want. Pomona is a little open, but Pitzer desires a student that fits into their 5 key values. Though based on your volunteer work you seem like you would be fine for Pitzer. One of the most important part are the supplements; they can make or break your application. If you don’t try you look very disinterested, so make sure you do your research on the institutions, and realise you won’t just be a student to Pomona/Pitzer, you will be a student to the 5Cs.
