<p>I have been accepted at Mississippi State University and my dream is to get the Presidential Scholarship there. Only a select few students receive the scholarship and it is a full ride plus other benefits. I won't find out anything for another couple months and I would just like someone to tell me if I've got a chance.</p>

<p>31 ACT with a 35 in the English and a 36 on the reading</p>
<p>4.0 UW, 4.4 W GPA</p>
<p>200 volunteer hours in positions such as mentor to middle school students, position of leadership in the food pantry, tutor, child abuse prevention volunteer, ect. </p>
<p>Smaller number of honors/awards, but do have some s/a going to nationals for DECA Marketing club, going to State for History Fair, Honor GPA School Award, ect</p>
<p>Work experience as a lifeguard </p>
<p>Very strong essay about why I want to study international business (tied in my experiences living in Italy for 3yrs, ect)</p>
<p>EXCELLENT teacher recommendations </p>
<p>By the time I graduate from HS I'll have almost the first 2 yrs of college done through AP and DE classes </p>
<p>I know this was very generic but I'm just anxious to know if it seems like I would even be a strong candidate for such a large scholarship. Thank you and only serious replies please.</p>
