Do I have a Chance at...

I very much want to get into an Ivy League college, specifically Brown, Harvard, UPenn, or Yale. My mom went to Brown, which can help. I have been to two summer camps at Brown (awesome experience), and I fell in love with the place. I even want to play basketball to increase admission chances. Basketball is a passion of mine, so it would be more work, but not harder( if that makes sense).

I am only a sophomore and have not taken the SAT yet (will take in fall), so don't chew me out on it! Also, I have about 20 inventions (not all fully-functional prototypes- just detailed designs and info.) that I will "sell" this summer/ work with company in nearby city. I am NOT in it for prestige, just a good education. I'm also interested in Caltech, Duke, Hopkins, MIT, and Wake Forest for biomedical engineering. Please help me out and Happy Easter!!! Also, Let me know where you think I would best fit/ have best college experience!!!

wow you only have 39 kids in your grade? your class sizes must be like 4 kids… how does that work ahha…

okay anyways… i say apply early to Brown (if they have early) and you have a VERY very good chance of getting in. (legacy + recruitment + summer programs + good stats + solid ecs)

Thanks Ny0rker, that makes me feel good ( even though I am only a sophomore). Yeah, my classes are around 12-16 kids per class (makes being in top 10% a lot harder!!). My camp RA said to apply early as well. What do you think of my chances at other Ivies or Caltech, Duke, Hopkins, MIT, or Wake are?

anybody else have an opinion on if i can get into an ivy league school or one of comparable academic excellence?

bump…Anybody out there who could help me out here?

Can anybody give me some guidance???
