I spent allot of time on all of the essays
I am applying to the viterbi college of engineering

any response would be helpful! doesn’t have to be long. I also have good ECs I am on the mock trio,l team football team, volleyball team, did track for a year, I have two seasonal jobs, I volunteered in El Salvador, and I am in my schools student government.

Everyone has a chance. But they turn down 80%. And of those they take only half enroll - many due to the high cost of attendance. So honestly - I suggest you read this thread to get more clarity - just the first post. It will tell you everything you need to know:

@ArtsandLetters so when this happens those spots are given to waitlisted folk or what?

There is no waitlist at USC. In fact, they have so many good candidates that they offer around 400 Freshman to start in the Spring rather than denying them admission. They know their yield very well and how many they should offer admission to hit their goal.
