<p>2/3 of Penn State’s decision is based on GPA, 1/3 is based on the SAT or ACT’s. A 3.1 is probably not enough to get you into Main Campus for fall. BUT, you could apply DUS and check off the option for summer and that would give you the best chance. A 3.1 GPA is not unheard of for summer start. You would also definitely be accepted to a branch campus so if you are interested in doing the 2+2 Program, you can get to PSU main campus that way eventually as well. Here is last years scattergram. The years are based on the year that a student would graduate PSU. So the scattergram for 2018 is last year’s graduating class. That being said, there are 9 profiles up for the class of 2015, but they will be skewed high because the highest stat kids are the ones hearing now. Also keep in mind, this admission scattergram is for fall admission. It will be lower for summer admission but as far as I know, they don’t publish those stats.
