Hey!
You seem to have some pretty strong EC’s. As for SAT’s (I&II) I think you are good enough. Personally what I think you should work on are your AP’s… futhermore… What do you think is your primary EC… In other words whats your main focus on when it comes to EC’s?

Sorry, not much golf in Cambridge! Seriously, you have as good a chance as any applicant with 700+ SAT and SAT-II scores. That chance is, of course, small; chances are clearly enhanced by unique, thoughtful essays that show something about you not otherwise evident in the application (be sure to add anything optional that is allowed, as long as it also meets this criterion). Don’t provide a laundry list of EC’s and awards (except in an addendum); try to use your application to tell others about you. Good luck!

wait a sec, there’s no way you’re 2nd in state for math and failed AIME. Unless Nevada is really that weak?

I thought the AMC people had rules that ensure at least one person from every state is represented at USAMO… I may be wrong though.

yeah, that’s the policy.

Nice stats.

AP tests are bit weak, but your ECs should cover that.

Then again, this is coming from an 8th grader =D

You can just not send them your AP scores you know.

You can send one or two, to let them know you actually did some, and so send the 4s.
