Do I have a chance of getting a BS/MD? Currently High School Freshmen

Hi Im a high school freshmen and I want to be a doctor, not just for the money I want to help people. My goal has been set on this and I'm not going to change. Do I have a chance at getting BS/MD?

Classes I'm taking:
Biology: A
Geometry: A
Spanish 2: C
PE 9: A
Lit/Writ 9: A
and Business: B

Current GPA is 3.5 (for the first semester) haven't started the second one yet.
haven't volunteered but planning on taking Alg. 2/Trig (which allows me to go to Pre-Calc/ Calc 1 in sophomor year) over summer and volunteering at the local hospital. Also going to try to volunteer during winter break.

Thanks, and if you have already gotten into med school could you tell me the way and everything. I've been researching for about 2-3 years. Thanks!

Also it wouldn't matter what school it is as long as I'm able to do the program.

Do colleges look at your core GPA, because then I would have a 4.0 right?

P.S this is my first post here at the website :) You could be mean if you want too -___-

It’s great that you’re so dedicated to this plan - but you’re a freshman!! I’m not trying to say that you’re too young to know what you want, but that you’re too young to be worrying about this! You have 3 years of high school ahead of you to grow, learn, and experience things. I’m not saying don’t work hard, because if med school is something you’re striving for, you should definitely challenge yourself. Come back to CC in your junior year when you’re taking your SATs and AP/IBs. Until then, there’s absolutely no way to even chance you for a BS/MD program. People change so much during high school, and it’s impossible to chance based on 1 semester. Plus, there’s always the possibility that you’ll change your mind (many people do, that’s all). Study hard, get involved, and stalk CC if you must, but by all means, enjoy the next 4 years. You have no reason to fret over this in the near future.

“you’re too young to be worrying about this!”

You are a freshman you have a lot of time ahead of you. You dont need to be worrying about this so much. Just push to do well and the when you are a junior and senior you can decide what you want to do.
