Do I have a chance of getting into the University of Michigan Ann Arbor?

I'm a junior in high school with a cumulative GPA of 3.98 and my GPA last semester was a 4.125. I take two honors classes, two AP classes, and an IB class out of the eight classes in my day. I'm a member of my school's National Honor Society and the Spanish one as well, and have a leadership position in Optimist Club. I participated in cross country and track the past two years. In addition, my parents are immigrants and I fluently speak their language of origin. I'm really interested in the college of LSA and majoring in bio, eventually being in the premed program, and I'm going to a medical conference at Northwestern this summer. I plan to get my letters of recommendation from one of the leaders at the conference and my IB teacher that went to U of M.
However, sophomore year I got two Cs in each of my honors classes, and I don't know if I have enough extracurriculars compared to applicants. Do I have a shot at getting in?

PS I got a 29 on my last ACT and a 5 on my AP US history exam last year.

I think you have a pretty good shot! It sounds like you’re a match for the school. Chance back?

What is your uwGPA and are you from in state?
ACT 29 is at the 25% for LSA. But with 2 Cs in your sophomore year, your GPA is likely below the admission average of 3.85. If you are from oos, your chance would be very slim. If you are from Michigan and your uwGPA is above 3.8, it would be a high match for you.
