Hey! So I’m sure you’re aware that chancing is an extremely inexact science, but I’ll give it a go. Your GPA is above the average for Vassar (3.7) so that’s great (if it’s unweighted.) Your SATs are lower than their average. Last year it was 2010 so not a huge difference, but still slightly low. Your course load is perfect. Vassar loves students who challenge themselves and it seems you’ve gone above and beyond that with the college classes, so that’s great! Extracurriculars sound really good too. Volunteering with a museum is good … any other community service type things? And to be frank, being male is a definite point in your favour, as it would be with most liberal arts schools in Vassar’s league. I would say you have a good shot. As for sending the extra stuff, I’m not sure if it could hurt or help. I’ve heard that admissions officers don’t like to have to wade through tons of things, but on the other hand, if you send in that stuff with a note about how Vassar’s your top choice it could be helpful. Vassar really wants students who love love love Vassar. That’s why they accept so many early decision. Hope this was somewhat helpful, and good luck!!

thanks hbananah. yeah i have a lot of smaller things that I didnt put on here! yeah im hoping vassar doesnt put too much of an emphasis on test scores.
